Job summary

ABM Industries in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Lead to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment, while coordinating day-to-day projects to meet contractual commitments. The role handles workload, scheduling, and reporting in a cost-effective manner.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess valid, unexpired driver''s license.
• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts.
• Handle heavy workload of calls.
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return.
• Manage workload and job scheduling.
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs).
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback.
• Communicate effectively and promptly.
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team.
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company.
• When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups.
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor.

Compensation

$28.00 - $36.00 per hour pay rate (U.S. Dollars)
