Job summary

ABM is seeking a Maintenance Lead to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment. The role includes day-to-day coordination of projects to meet contractual commitments and cost-effective delivery. ABM emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork across departments.

• On-site work with some supervisory duties may be expected.

• Handle a heavy workload of calls and coordinate service tasks.
• Inform customers about arrival times and plan return visits.
• Manage workload, scheduling, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and obtain customer signatures.

Pay:$28/HR +DOE
The pay listed is the hourly/salary rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’sexperience, skills, abilities, geographic location,and alignment with market data.

The Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
• Handle heavy workload of calls
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return
• Manage workload and job scheduling
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs)
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback
• Communicate effectively and promptly
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company
• When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license
• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred
• One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred
