Aerotek seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in Henderson, TX. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and uptime in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and reading schematics and manuals.

Formación

• Technical schooling or trade certification is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments is desirable.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and rotating shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose issues involving motors, VFDs, PLCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatics.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Complete maintenance documents and work orders.
• Support production during equipment failures and planned shutdowns.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose issues involving motors, VFDs, PLCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
• Support production teams during equipment failures and planned shutdowns.
• Follow safety requirements including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and motors.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Complete scheduled PMs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Inspect machinery for wear and potential failures.
• Repair and maintain valves, cylinders, pumps, compressors, and associated components.
• Troubleshoot pressure-related system issues.
• Fabricate replacement components as needed.
• Perform welding repairs on production equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, drawings, and repair instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical school certificate, associate degree, or trade certification preferred

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
• Strong understanding of OSHA and safety regulations
• Welding certifications are a plus
• Electrical certifications are a plus
• Multi-craft maintenance experience preferred

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production environment. You will experience exposure to heat, dust, noise, and moving machinery. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57636.80 - $60528.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
