Job summary

The Sunray Companies, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance repairs, deep cleaning, inventory, and move‑in/move‑out duties across properties in Mississippi and Louisiana. Travel to MS and LA is required.

The role is full-time and onsite, with a flexible schedule that may include late nights, weekends, and possible overtime. Supplies and tools are provided to support maintenance and cleaning tasks, ensuring efficient property operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in building or similar maintenance.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to use and stand on a ladder above 8 feet.
• Proficient in use of general maintenance equipment—including hand tools, power tools, ladders, paint equipment.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance repair tasks correctly, safely, and by due date.
• Complete all assigned maintenance service requests.
• Deep carpet and tile cleaning on a quarterly basis as assigned.
• Quarterly maintenance inspections as assigned.
• Flipping, moving furniture, and deep cleaning of tenant spaces for move-in/move-out.
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of specific local properties as part of support staff.
• Inventory and organization of warehouse.
• Assist with management of the online maintenance system.
• Special projects or duties as assigned.

Job description

The Sunray Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for general maintenance repair, deep cleaning, inventory, move‑in/move‑out, and similar responsibilities. This full‑time position requires a flexible schedule week‑to‑week, including late nights, weekends, and possible overtime. The company provides any needed supplies and tools—including hand, power, and specialty tools, maintenance and cleaning supplies, dollies, ladders, etc. Travel to Mississippi and Louisiana is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance repair tasks correctly, safely, and by due date, including fixtures/outlets, sensors/lighting, drains, faucets, locks, ceiling tiles, filters, sheetrock repair, touch‑up painting, shelving and doors, simple carpentry or masonry repairs, and other preventative maintenance.
• Complete all assigned maintenance service requests.
• Deep carpet and tile cleaning on a quarterly basis as assigned.
• Quarterly maintenance inspections as assigned.
• Flipping, moving furniture, and deep cleaning of tenant spaces for move‑out/move‑in.
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of specific local properties as part of support staff.
• Inventory and organization of warehouse.
• Assist with management of the online maintenance system.
• Special projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements
