Full-time hourly

The Sunray Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for general maintenance repair, deep cleaning, inventory, move‑in/move‑out, and similar responsibilities. This is a full‑time position with benefits and requires a flexible schedule week‑to‑week including late nights, weekends and possible overtime. The company provides any needed supplies and tools for the position including hand, power and specialty tools, maintenance and cleaning supplies, dollies, ladders, etc. Travel is required to Mississippi and Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance repair tasks correctly, safely and by due date. General maintenance may include but is not limited to repair of fixtures or outlets, adjusting of sensors and lighting, unclogging drains, repairing or replacing faucets or other minor plumbing components, repairing or replacing locks, replacing ceiling tiles, replacing filters, sheetrock repair, touch‑up painting, install shelving and doors, simple carpentry or masonry repairs, assembly as needed, maintenance troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and similar tasks
• Complete all assigned maintenance service requests
• Deep carpet and tile cleaning on a quarterly basis as assigned
• Quarterly maintenance inspections as assigned
• Flipping, moving furniture, and deep cleaning of tenant spaces for move‑out/move‑in
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of physical condition of specific local properties as part of support staff
• Inventory and organization of warehouse
• Assist with management of online maintenance system
• Experience with replacing flooring, sheetrock, full painting, and similar is a plus
• Special projects or duties as assigned

• Proficient in use of general maintenance equipment including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, ladders, paint equipment, and similar

Previous experience in event setup and takedown as well as some minor maintenance is preferred.
