Maintenance Technician – Day Shift

Location: Harwood Heights, IL

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Type: Full-Time | On-Site

A leading manufacturer in Harwood Heights, IL is seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations. This hands-on, generalist role requires strong electro-mechanical skills and industrial maintenance experience. Ideal candidates enjoy variety in their daily tasks, from fixing furnaces to rewiring motors and repainting walls.

Responsibilities:

• Industrial Troubleshooting (50%): Diagnose and repair CNCs, industrial ovens, furnaces, and HVAC equipment.
• General Facility Tasks (30%): Adjust garage doors, repair hinges, paint walls, and replace or install electrical outlets.
• Electrical Maintenance (20%): Handle basic wiring, motor repairs, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Plumbing Repairs (10%): Perform light plumbing work as needed.
• HVAC Support (5%): Assist with ongoing HVAC maintenance.

Note: This environment is not highly automated or assembly-line; it offers a hands-on role with diverse tasks in a smaller facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
