Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, adjust and install machinery to support quality and production targets.

Responsibilities include planned and unplanned maintenance, adherence to OSHA lockout/tagout, HMIs, assembly and test of equipment, and daily site upkeep. The role may involve stocking materials and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production machinery.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations (Lockout/Tagout).

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Operate in compliance with OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Repair, set up, or adjust equipment for operators, including HMIs.
• Assemble and test machinery to ensure safe, operable condition before production.
• Perform building maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Organize and stock raw materials in the work area; keep area clean at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintain and install machinery as needed to support quality and production targets.

• Conducts planned and unplanned maintenance work to reduce machine downtime.
• Conduct all work while adhering to OSHA regulations (i.e. Lockout/Tag-out etc)
• Repair, set up, or install equipment for operators tuning either mechanically or by changing parameters on Human Machine Interface.
• Assemble and test machinery to make sure it is safe and operational before placing back into production
• Perform building maintenance
• Required to organize and/or stock raw materials in the work area and to follow departmental housekeeping requirements and leave the work environment and equipment clean at the end of the production day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
