Job summary

Tempur Sealy International in Maryland is seeking a manufacturing maintenance technician to support quality and production targets through troubleshooting, repair, and installation of machinery. You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance and ensure equipment safety before return to production.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, ability to work with HMI controls, maintain clean workspaces, and contribute to building maintenance and inventory organization in a fast-paced plant

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintain and install machinery as needed to support quality and production targets.
• Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance to reduce machine downtime.
• Repair, set up, or install equipment for operators, tuning mechanically or by changing parameters on Human Machine Interface.
• Assemble and test machinery to ensure it is safe and operational before placing back into production.
• Perform building maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Organize and/or stock raw materials in the work area and follow housekeeping requirements; leave the work environment and equipment clean at the end of the production day.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Required to organize and/or stock raw materials in the work area and to follow departmental housekeeping requirements and leave the work environment and equipment clean at the end of the production day.
