Job summary

Foamcraft, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Greenfield, IN to lead maintenance activities and improve equipment reliability.

You will diagnose, repair, and optimize production equipment, while coordinating preventative maintenance programs and safety inspections with the plant team. Responsibilities include supporting system upgrades, installations, and shop projects, using CMMS to track work orders, and collaborating with operations leadership to reduce downtime across Foamcraft locations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading maintenance activities or maintenance personnel.
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, plumbing, or facility systems.
• Experience with CNC equipment is preferred.
• Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety best practices.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and solve recurring equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities within the plant.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Support machine installation, relocation, assembly, and upgrades.
• Lead equipment and facility improvement projects.
• Utilize maintenance software to track work orders and maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety inspections, fire inspections, and facility audits.
• Build and maintain carts, fixtures, tables, and other shop projects as needed.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance and minor facility repairs.
• Partner with operations leadership to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support maintenance initiatives across multiple Foamcraft locations when needed.
