Job summary

Creative Foam Corporation, a long-standing foam and plastic manufacturer, seeks an experienced maintenance professional to join our Dayton, OH operations. The role centers on hands-on maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, with emphasis on troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades to sustain production.

Expect accurate work-order documentation and strong safety practices. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, solid electrical skills,

Qualifications

• 5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on machine maintenance support including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Performs scheduled preventive/predictive maintenance per specifications.
• Assists in manufacture, assembly, and installation of machine or plant upgrades and improvements.
• Keeps accurate information on work orders with problem, remedy, labor, parts and downtime.
• Promotes safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment.

The qualified individual will posses the following skill set:

• Hands-on machine maintenance support including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair, weld/fabricating experience. Knowledge and understanding of control panels and control logic. 5 axis robotic system experience helpful.
• Hands-on plant maintenance support including utilities and structure.
• Performs the scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance program to its specifications and guidelines.
• Assists in the manufacture, assembly, and installation of machine or plant upgrades, and plant improvement programs.
• Responsible for keeping accurate information on a project or repair work order including problem, remedy, labor, parts and downtime incurred in a legible, specific format.
• Promotes company’s safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment for employees.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in maintenance within manufacturing.
• 3 to 5 years of strong electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshoot abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
