Creative Foam Corp in Michigan seeks a skilled maintenance technician to support manufacturing operations. The role focuses on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical troubleshooting, with hands-on fabrication and welding as needed.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and basic computer proficiency to ensure reliable plant performance and safety standards.

• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on machine maintenance including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair; PLC control and PLC programming preferred.
• Fabrication work including manual mill and lathe, cutting, torching, welding (Mig and Tig), grinding and assembly.
• Plant maintenance including utilities and structure.
• Perform scheduled preventive/predictive maintenance per specs.
• Assist in upgrades and plant improvement programs.
• Maintain accurate notes on repair work orders (problem, remedy, labor, parts, downtime).
• Support safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Hands-on machine maintenance support including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair. Candidates are required to have Knowledge and understanding of PLC control and control logic. Experience with 5 axis robotic systems and PLC programming is preferred.
• Hands on Fabrication skills to include manual mill and lathe work, cutting, torching, welding (Mig and Tig), grinding and assembly.
• Hands-on plant maintenance support including utilities and structure.
• Performs the scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance program to its specifications and guidelines.
• Assists in the manufacture, assembly, and installation of machine or plant upgrades, and plant improvement programs.
• Responsible for keeping accurate information on a project or repair work order including problem, remedy, labor, parts and downtime incurred in a legible, specific format.
• Promotes Company's safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment for employees.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Basic computer skills.

Work Hours

Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm- 3:30 am, OT may be available on Friday and Saturday as needed.
