Job summary

Lineage is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our Grand Island facility operating safely and efficiently. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment supporting daily operations, with exposure to industrial refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of maintenance experience and technical/trade school training.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, building or property maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance, mechanical or automotive repair, or hotel/facilities maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Stable work history with a desire to build a long-term career.
• Candidates should reside within approximately 40–50 miles of the Grand Island facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with inspections and basic maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment (ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus).
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment following manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Communicate equipment concerns and repair recommendations to leadership.
• Safely operate power tools, welding equipment, lifts, and other maintenance equipment as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime, on-call rotation, and occasional weekend rounds required.

We're looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility operating safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment that supports our daily operations. You'll work alongside an experienced maintenance team and have the opportunity to expand your skills, including exposure to industrial refrigeration systems.

Required Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of maintenance experience and technical/trade school training.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Building or property maintenance
• Material handling equipment maintenance
• Mechanical or automotive repair
• Hotel or facilities maintenance
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Stable work history with a desire to build a long‑term career.
• Candidates should reside within approximately 40–50 miles of the Grand Island facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial refrigeration or cold storage environments.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Experience working in food manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20°F in freezer environments to 100°F in dry storage areas while wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift.
• Ability to work overtime, participate in an on‑call rotation, and work occasional weekends as business needs require.
• Some locations may require working at heights and in environments with elevated noise levels.
