Maintenance Technician

Job ID: MT-MA

Location: Gloucester MA area

Pay: $34 up to $38 hourly + Overtime

Schedule: Monday –Friday 9am-4:30pm and Saturdays 7am-12pm

Qualifications /Responsibilities:

• 2-3 years or more of working as a hands on maintenance technician in a manufacturing or production setting
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Schedule + preform preventative maintenance: conveyor systems, labeling machines, blenders, kettles, filler machines, mixing machines.
• Oversees new equipment installations.
• Inspect plant equipment weekly to identify potential issues; analyze and resolve equipment deficiencies.
• Work with outside contractors on projects related to Refrigeration and Low-Pressure Boiler (no boiler nor refrigeration experience is necessary)
• Good ability with hand / power tools
• Responsible for all calls on alarms after hours.
• Responsible for some safety training & reporting Food Safety Issues.
• Basic Knowledge of EXCEL & WORD
• Excellent communication skills – English required; Spanish is a plus
