Job summary

Touchmark at Georgetown is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep campus buildings and equipment in top condition, with a 3pm–11pm shift. You will maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely repairs.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a community setting, basic knowledge of relevant systems, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Strong English communication is essential.

This position is for the 3pm to 11pm shift.

The Ideal Candidates will:

• Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience with general maintenance in a community setting; previous experience working in a health care environment is a plus
• Have basic knowledge of appliance, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair
• Have knowledge and experience working with technology such as smart phones, tablets, smart remotes, smart TVs and personal computers.
• Ability to work with vendors
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Have working knowledge of business software and Microsoft operating systems
• Have the ability to move quickly to various areas of the entire property
• Physical work is a primary part of this role
• Be able to read, write and speak English in order to communicate clearly with other team members and residents
