Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and aesthetics across the residence. You will maintain equipment, perform repairs, and support the upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces to ensure a safe, attractive living environment for residents.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical, HVAC and maintenance trades, with a willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in electrical, HVAC and repairs/maintenance
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for service delivery as needed
• Experience working in a senior living or healthcare environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Regularly walk through the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Complete and document work orders for building, grounds and equipment
• Report parts or supplies needs to the Maintenance Director for repairs
• Assist with inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and vendor oversight
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

JOB HIGHLIGHTS--

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring the place they call home is a safe and attractive living environment. This position functions to maintain and repair the equipment, operating systems, structure and grounds of the residence.

Responsibilities--

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements--Maintenance Technician

• Required: Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance
• Required: Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required
