Core-Mark, a leading distributor of consumer goods in North America, is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician for our Gardiner, ME location. This hands-on role focuses on building and facilities maintenance, basic repairs, painting, and safety inspections, with a 4-day work week and a schedule of 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. On-site walk-ins are welcome; interview slots are Tue-Thu 10:00am-3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and facility maintenance projects.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Complete basic repairs, painting, drywall patching, and carpentry tasks.
• Help maintain grounds, including seasonal snow removal.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Respond to maintenance requests and support facility operations.

$20 - $25/Hour | 4-Day Work Week
Location: 47 Market St. Gardiner, ME 04345
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, automotive, military, warehouse, or trade experience is a plus, but not required

Additional Requirements & Responsibilities

• Performs Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Preventive Maintenance and safety checks
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Adhere to OSHA safety regulations approved standards, policies and procedures
