Base pay range
$26.00/hr - $26.00/hr
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing routine maintenance and repairs of production equipment, facility equipment, building maintenance, monitoring building BMS/EMS systems, and other duties as assigned.
Corrective & Preventative Maintenance – Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance which includes documentation of maintenance activities and filing of records through work order system. Detect malfunctions/issues and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or operators; diagnose problems and repairs; increase efficiency of machines; bring equipment and environment within SG safety guidelines. And that machines are operating as designed and according to SOPs.
Repair, inspect and test machinery and equipment: for proper operations, for quality product, safety issues, and operating within specifications per SOPs. And follow all LOTO procedures.
Contractor Safety administration - monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to company's safety standards and that work is completed according to defined scope/permit.
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of facility and grounds in regard to safety and compliance whether city, state, federal, or Landlord requirements.
Building system monitoring with occasional maintenance to ensure production areas meet operating conditions.
All other tasks assigned as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment/systems.
Must have a strong commitment to safety practices & principles. Especially LOTO.
Mechanical aptitude and experience with facility/equipment problem solving abilities for equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, valves, solenoids, cylinders, etc.
Basic hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, electrical meters, etc.
Forklift operational experience (or become trained within approximately 6 months)
