Job Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, the ideal candidate is skilled in evaluating a property to identify necessary tasks and prioritizing them accordingly. The position requires Monday – Friday work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekend work may be required in the event of an emergency.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, advanced carpentry, construction, HVAC, welding is a bonus.
• Ability to approach mechanical challenges from a logical perspective.
• Make repairs as assigned while working efficiently with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and property.
• Always maintain all equipment in top condition and ensure that safety standards are met.
• Ability to follow and/or set preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the equipment's life.
• Consistently assess work areas for safety concerns, raise all concerns to the appropriate individual, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Skilled in the proper and safe use of all tools, materials, chemicals, and products relating to the department.
• Strong verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to utilize these skills to maintain positive relations with team members and guests.
• Some computer work is required.
• Additional job training is provided.
