This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the stores meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

1. Complete assigned work and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards, and codes.
2. Obtain materials, supplies, and equipment from the warehouse; track inventory, and notify management about re-ordering needs.
3. Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly for service requests and scheduled maintenance.
4. Support cost control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible, and practicing efficient use of materials and tools.
5. Inspect work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure quality standards and scope are met.
6. Assist in store inspections to identify safety and maintenance concerns, and communicate needs to management.
7. Perform repairs such as fixing locks, filling wall gaps, painting, replacing lights, fixing leaks, cleaning grease traps, and electrical issues.
8. Install equipment and appliances, and troubleshoot systems.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and certifications in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
• All necessary certifications required by local and state regulations.
