Maintenance Technician – Village at Shaw | Fresno, CA

Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for Village at Shaw Apartments in Fresno, CA. You will ensure operational excellence and curb appeal, deliver superior resident service, and support maintenance activities including repairs, upkeep, and turnovers. This is a full-time role with benefits, paying between $20.00 and $22.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
2. Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
3. Manage apartment turnovers, including inspections, repairs, and cleaning.
4. Maintain community curb appeal through landscaping and exterior maintenance.
5. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and property management.
6. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency maintenance.
7. Ensure safety compliance in all activities.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in apartment maintenance or similar, with skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Customer service orientation.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and participate in on-call duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
