Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Frankfort, MI to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across plant areas, ensuring reliable electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate as needed while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing skills, and experience with hand and power tools. The position offers a day/night shift with a 2-on/2-off rotating schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Experience with common hand tools and power tools, following OSHA safety guidelines
• Ability to operate, repair, and maintain machinery safely
• Ability to carry 50 lbs, work from ladders or platforms, 20/20 vision, color differentiation

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication work across various plant areas
• Maintain electrical systems, plumbing, and heating/refrigeration equipment
• Repair and service forklifts, batteries, and related machinery
• Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment and plant infrastructure
• Generate, update, and close out work orders efficiently and accurately

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the Main Street Plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Frankfort, MI

Pay Range: $19-21/hr plus $2/hr shift premium for nights if applicable.

Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm OR 7:00pm-7:00am / Schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off with rotating weekends.
