Qualifications

  • Five+ years of experience maintaining mechanical and rotating systems.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing compressors, turbines, heat exchangers.
  • Strong preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform alignment.
  • Excellent documentation and CMMS proficiency.
  • Experience with vibration analysis; familiarity with enterprise asset management is a plus.
  • Apprenticeship in machinist/millwright is a plus.
  • Physical ability for confined spaces, heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections on compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers and other rotating systems.
  • Support water treatment, gas-fired vaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems and related process equipment for safe, reliable operations.
  • Conduct periodic inspection and maintenance while supporting root cause analysis for major failures.
  • Assist with turnaround planning, cost estimation, and resolution of mechanical asset concerns.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in the CMMS and uphold predictive programs.
  • Perform office and field work independently, escalating technical concerns and accessing elevated equipment safely.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • You will plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections on compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and other rotating systems
  • You shall support and maintain water treatment systems, gas‑fired vaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems, and related process equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations
  • In this role you will conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of plant equipment while supporting the root cause analysis program for major failures
  • Additionally, assist with turnaround planning, cost estimation, and the identification and resolution of chronic mechanical asset concerns
  • Take responsibility for maintaining accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance system and upholding the Oil and Vibrations Predictive Program
  • Furthermore, perform both office and field work independently, escalating technical concerns and safely accessing elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man‑lifts, or crane baskets
What Makes You Great
  • You will bring a minimum of five years of experience maintaining mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • You shall have proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heat exchangers
  • In addition you should demonstrate strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for industrial mechanical and rotating systems
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices and perform precision alignment on multi‑train equipment while upholding high technical standards
  • Additionally, communicate effectively, work independently, and lead or support teams with strong documentation and computer skills, including proficiency in maintenance management systems
  • You are recognized for hands‑on experience with vibration analysis and dynamic balancing, and familiarity with enterprise asset management systems; completion of a machinist or millwright apprenticeship is a plus
  • You are able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights
  • You will be available to work extended hours when business needs arise
  • Furthermore, you demonstrate the flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call‑in coverage
  • You ensure a reliable and safety‑focused presence during critical operational periods
