Job summary

Linde is seeking a Customer Service Maintenance Technician in Utah to perform installation, maintenance, and overhauls on industrial mechanical systems, including cryogenic tanks and related equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and independent decision-making in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Experience applying preventive maintenance to industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to fit tubes/pipes using brazing and soldering techniques.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with documentation of activities in CMMS.

• You will plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of industrial mechanical systems, including bulk cryogenic tanks, condensing units, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, heaters, and regulator modules. This role includes overtime and on-call responsibilities
• Further, conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of bulk cryogenic tanks and equipment, actively support the root cause analysis program for major failures, maintain documentation of all maintenance activities in Field Centrix, and work independently to make technical decisions while escalating concerns as needed to protect safety and equipment integrity
• Also, contribute to a disciplined, safety-focused environment by executing work practices that reinforce compliance and operational excellence

What Makes You Great

• You apply preventive maintenance methods for industrial mechanical and electrical systems under 600V, demonstrate skill in pipe fitting and pipe joining using brazing and soldering techniques, and support the installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of tanks, condensing units, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, heaters, and regulator modules
• You are an experienced maintenance professional with a minimum of five years of maintaining mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment, with experience in these systems considered an asset
• Moreover, demonstrate excellent communication and team interaction skills, work independently or effectively lead and participate in teams, and maintain accurate documentation and records while utilizing computers, standard software packages, and a computerized maintenance management system
