Job summary

DeBrand, Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a maintenance-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, and keeping equipment running.

Whether you bring experience in mechanical trades or have developed skills through farming, automotive work, construction, fabrication, or personal projects, we’ll train the right person alongside our experienced maintenance technician. Both part-time and full-time candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, industrial maintenance, automotive repair, farming, welding, fabrication, or similar mechanical work is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment or a willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to develop new skills.
• Able to work independently while also collaborating with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues (or learn how through on-the-job training).
• Build, modify, and improve equipment, fixtures, and facility structures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records.
• Work alongside our experienced maintenance technician to expand your skills and knowledge.
• Machine operation
