The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing specialized work in the trades of Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC. This role requires expertise and the ability to work independently, supporting team members through training and collaboration. The technician will ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and in compliance with safety standards.

This is an onsite position at the Maritz campus in Fenton, MO, working Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST.

Responsibilities

1. Specialty Work (70%)

• Perform advanced work independently in at least two trades: electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Training & Project Management (30%)

• Provide on-the-job training to other technicians and support team development.
• Identify and track all billable project costs.
• Complete daily time cards and administrative tasks for accurate project tracking and billing.
• Adhere to budget constraints and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Significant expertise in HVAC and Electrical trades.
• Valid Class E driver's license.
• Typically, 5+ years of experience with formal training, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Safety-conscious and knowledgeable.
• Self-starter capable of working independently on projects.
