Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team at an apartment community in Fall River, MA. The role supports the Service Manager with a range of routine, preventative and emergency maintenance to keep properties running smoothly.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, janitorial duties, and grounds care. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in facilities maintenance and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in facilities maintenance.
• Effective English communication, both written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills and customer service focus.
• Must be proactive and a self-starter.
• On-call for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable vehicle to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, locks, carpentry, painting, drywall).
• Maintain common areas and exterior grounds to company standards.
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Assist Service Manager with efficient property operation.

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at apartment communitiy in Fall River, MA. The Maintenance Technician's role requires effective and careful evaluation in response to a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with the efficient operation of property.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative and emergency maintenance:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Appliance Repair
• Locks & Keys
• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and Drywall Repair
• Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal
• Cleaning
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the buildings common areas and other assigned areas;
• Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of 3 years and related job experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbal;
• Solid computer skills;
• Excellent customer service skills a must;
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal;
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter;
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field;
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays;
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Compensation and Benefits:
