Job summary

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center- Evansville, IN is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is part of a team responsible for ensuring all facilities are well maintained, including preventative maintenance tasks and urgent requests.

Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, day-time hours, with a rotating on-call schedule. We value resourcefulness, hard work, and practical problem-solving to keep our spaces welcoming and safe for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma/GED.
• A valid driver's license & proof of car insurance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Pass a physical, TB, drug screen, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and respond to urgent requests.
• Maintain all facilities to keep spaces safe and presentable.
• Work Monday to Friday during daytime hours with rotating on-call.
• Collaborate with team to address maintenance issues promptly.

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The Maintenance Technician is part of a team that is responsible for making sure all of our facilities are well maintained. This includes preventative maintenance tasks, as well as, responding to urgent requests. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, Day-time hours. This job role also requires a rotating on-call schedule.

Must be:

• Great at applying common sense solutions to keep things looking sharp!
• Possess a "No Job is Too Big or Too Small" attitude!
• Willing to learn!
• Prior experience in basic tasks like painting, simple plumbing, lawn and landscape maintenance, etc. is a plus!
