Job summary

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep facilities well maintained, perform preventative tasks, and respond to urgent requests.

Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, daytime hours with a rotating on-call shift. Must be 18+, valid driver's license, and high school diploma or GED. Benefits include PayActiv, health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company match, life and disability insurance.

Maintenance Technician

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The Maintenance Technician is part of a team that is responsible for making sure all of our facilities are well maintained. This includes preventative maintenance tasks, as well as, responding to urgent requests. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, Day-time hours. This job role also requires a rotating on-call schedule.

Must be:

• Resourceful!
• Hard Working!
• Great at applying common sense solutions to keep things looking sharp!
• Possess a “No Job is Too Big or Too Small” attitude!
• Willing to learn!
• Prior experience in basic tasks like painting, simple plumbing, lawn and landscape maintenance, etc. is a plus!

Qualifications:
Required:

• You must be at least 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma/GED
• A valid driver’s license & proof of car insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Pass a physical, TB, drug screen, and background checks
