Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities in top condition. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, addressing urgent requests, and supporting a team dedicated to accessibility and quality care.

The typical schedule is Monday–Friday during daytime hours with a rotating on-call commitment. A valid driver’s license is required and benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities.
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner.

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The Maintenance Technician is part of a team that is responsible for making sure all of our facilities are well maintained. This includes preventative maintenance tasks, as well as, responding to urgent requests. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, Day-time hours. This job role also requires a rotating on-call schedule.

Must be:

• Resourceful!
• Hard Working!
• Great at applying common sense solutions to keep things looking sharp!
• Possess a "No Job is Too Big or Too Small" attitude!
• Willing to learn!
• Prior experience in basic tasks like painting, simple plumbing, lawn and landscape maintenance, etc. is a plus!

Qualifications:

Required:

• You must be at least 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma/GED
• A valid driver's license & proof of car insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Pass a physical, TB, drug screen, and background checks
