Position Overview:

Are you a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician looking to join a dynamic team? We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Maintenance Technician at Lutheran Child and Family Services. As a vital member of our maintenance department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. Sign-On Bonus: $3,000

Primary Functions
  1. Performs routine daily checks of the campus
  2. Assists with planning and documentation of a preventive maintenance schedule that includes all aspects of the maintenance department
  3. Diagnoses and repairs/replaces equipment as needed
  4. Aids in the training (cross-training) of equipment
  5. Assists the housekeeper as needed to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and residents
  6. Assists with major repairs as needed
  7. Will cover on-call responsibilities for the up at night and weekends as needed
  8. Other duties as assigned
Requirements for Consideration
  • Age 21 or older
  • Preferred: High School diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • At least two years demonstrated commercial experience
  • Able to work the hours needed to accomplish assigned tasks, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mandatory On Call (One Week out of the month)

Drug screen, TB test, and extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all LCFS employees
