Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This role focuses on general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping to maintain curb appeal and apartment quality.

You will handle preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety tasks as part of a dedicated team. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–4 years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification preferred and must be attained within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 3–4 years of maintenance experience and knowledge to perform maintenance assessments to the standard of a Maintenance Technician.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartment homes.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial tasks as assigned.
  • Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and unit quality.
  • Notify Community Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
  • Assist with maintenance at other properties as needed and run errands to support the property.
  • Available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service 24/7.
