Position: Maintenance Technician

Pay: Based on experience starting at $35.82+/hr + $1.50 shift differential

Required Shift:

Must be available to work a rotating shift including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. This shift allows for every other weekend off and one full week off per month! Additional details will be discussed further in the interview process.

Job Purpose:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for properly maintaining and repairing equipment in a fast-paced, high production work environment, while prioritizing multiple mechanical/electrical and administrative tasks. These include troubleshooting various competencies: Advanced Pneumatic, Basic Hydraulic, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Automation (PLC and Instrumentation), Machining, and Mechanical Systems on all Process and Packaging Equipment.

What are we looking for?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical Degree/Trade Certification AND/OR 2+ years work experience related to industrial maintenance
• Fundamental understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings for troubleshooting
• Willingness to develop technical skills

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.)
• Handling, gripping, bending, stooping
• Ability to work at heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment
• Stand for extended periods (minimum eight hours)
• Support flexible schedules for production needs
• English reading, writing, understanding skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance/Technology
• Technical/Trade Certifications: Welding, Machinist Skills, Blueprint Interpretation
• Advanced understanding of Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings
• PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment within close tolerances
• Perform electrical and mechanical problem-solving, preventative and predictive maintenance
• Support operations with setup, changeover, and training in Autonomous Maintenance
• Document work using SAP-PPM
• Adhere to safety procedures and support safety initiatives

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting at $35.82+ per hour, with a $5k sign-on bonus
• Shift differential of $1.50/hr for all shifts
