Job summary

Pregis LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a modern manufacturing facility in a fast-growing packaging company. The role involves preventive and reactive maintenance on production and utility equipment, plus troubleshooting PLCs and drive systems, reading schematics, and maintaining CMMS records.

The ideal candidate has PLC certification, at least 1 year in manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills, and experience with tools,

Qualifications

• PLC certification required.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with maintenance work order systems and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Welding and machining experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC drive systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
• Complete preventive maintenance checks and document work in CMMS.
• Communicate equipment issues to maintenance and production teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow sanitation protocols.
• Track and report parts usage and inventory levels.
• Follow all safety and compliance standards (OSHA, MSS, SOPs).
• Perform other duties as needed.

Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 6 AM-6PM or 6PM - 6AM, 2-2-3

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $33-42/hour.
