Job summary

Butler Community College seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep campus facilities in top condition. The role covers preventive and regular maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable environments for students and staff.

The position is full-time with an hourly pay of $18.20 and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 2–3 years of maintenance experience. A valid driver’s license is required and KPERS retirement is offered.

The Maintenance Technician is a limited supervision position that is responsible for maintaining favorable environmental conditions in the college’s building facilities. The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and regular maintenance and repair on all college HVAC , Plumbing and Electrical systems.
