The Custodial Technician is responsible to the Lead Custodian and Custodial Supervisor for the cleanliness of the college facilities.
Job duties include: Deep cleaning of classrooms, laboratories, offices, and high-traffic areas like lobbies and restrooms. Setting up and tearing down furniture (chairs, tables, podiums) for campus lectures, conferences, and athletic events. Other duties as assigned.

A. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
B. Must be neat and clean and take pride in own workmanship.
C. Must be able to establish a good rapport with students, faculty and the general public.
D. Must be flexible in working routine in order to accommodate the many changes of college events. Must be able to work split shift, late hours and weekends.
E. Must have knowledge of chemical products use and storage.
F. Flexible in working hours and willing to work overtime and adapt to unscheduled activities.
G. Must be in good physical health.
H. Possess a valid driver’s license.
I. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without limitations.
Must have practical knowledge of custodial duties and associated equipment and cleaning solvents.
High School diploma or equivalent.
