Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, monitor, and evaluate equipment, with a focus on blow molding and injection molding systems to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance for blow molding and injection molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards and procedures.
• Expand expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences including new equipment installation and modification projects.

$30 - $40, based on experience.

Night shift includes a shift differential of $.50

You Will

Troubleshoot and perform maintenance for blow molding & injection molding equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations

Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures

Repair & rebuild spare parts

Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures

Expand your expertise through formal training & on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & equipment modification projects

You Have

Ability to work 12 hour shifts, along with overtime, as needed

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.

Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve

Ability to interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics

ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
