Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities safe and functional. You will inspect buildings, assist with repairs and renovations, and handle basic IT and custodial tasks to support daily operations.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, and if in recovery, at least one year of sobriety. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities are a plus, with a willingness to work hands-on in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior.
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment.

What You'll Do
