Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• 3–5 years hands-on electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and industrial control systems.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance documentation.
• Experience with robotics or automated manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide general facility and plant maintenance support, including utilities and building systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, control panels, and industrial control systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records documenting repairs, labor, parts used, and equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and support efficient operations.
• Follow established safety procedures and help maintain a safe working environment.

Job description

An Established automotive and industrial manufacturing supply chain location in Dayton, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team!

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM. Pay rate is$32–$35 per hour, based on experience.

An established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support its production operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with equipment upgrades and facility improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical background, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM -6:30 AM. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime as production needs require. This may include coming in early, staying late, working occasional weekends, or providing maintenance coverage on other shifts when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 3-5 years of hands-on electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
