The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment and infrastructure at a Class IV Water Reclamation facility. This role supports the safe and efficient operation of the plant by ensuring mechanical, electrical, and structural systems are functioning properly and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Requires lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and standing/walking for extended periods. Must be available for on-call duty and emergency response as needed.
$62,400 – $74,880 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Earning higher levels of Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) Water Reclamation Certification qualifies the incumbent for higher top-tier pay rates.
