Job summary

The Tri-Cities Wastewater Authority operates a Class IV water reclamation facility in Dayton, OH and seeks a Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves and electrical systems, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. On-call duties and safety training are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, preferably water/wastewater.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on pumps, motors and valves.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Document equipment conditions using CMMS systems.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain grounds and structures, including carpentry and plumbing.
  • Respond to operational issues and support high-flow events.
