Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Licenses as required by the jurisdiction.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft, and work in varied environments.
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and responsive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct inspections and report conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Move and arrange office furniture and equipment as needed.
• Replace lighting and ballasts; clean HVAC coils; change filters and belts.
• Use CMMS (360 Facility) to update work orders and inspections.
• Maintain safety and comply with codes and policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Talascend is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.

Overview

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. The role involves performing inspections, repairs, and general maintenance to ensure proper functioning and safety of the property interior and exterior areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems and components.
• Conduct inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• Perform general interior maintenance such as hanging pictures, repairing office furniture, and fixing doors.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of building and equipment, as directed.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
• Replace lighting and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
• Complete hazard assessments and comply with safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment and recognize safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ordinances, codes, and laws.
• Complete safety training and practice defensive driving.
• Use CMMS systems such as 360 Facility to update work orders and perform vehicle safety inspections.
• Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work.
• Licenses as required by the jurisdiction.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3rd party certification.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
