Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to ensure our Concord facility stays safe, clean, and functional. You will inspect, repair, and renovate as needed, and support daily upkeep across the building and surroundings.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, basic carpentry/repair knowledge, and strong problem-solving abilities. A sobriety requirement applies if you are in recovery. Join our growing team in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of sustained sobriety if in recovery (where applicable).
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.)
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.)
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance
