Roofstock, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service rental properties across multiple sites in Columbia, SC. You will perform routine and emergency repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring properties remain in peak condition.

You should be self-motivated, tech-savvy, and comfortable using mobile apps to manage work orders. The role requires daily local travel and physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Daily travel to local properties.
• Physical role (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, etc.).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Employment contingent on background check.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Turnovers: Prepare vacant units for new move-ins ('make-readies').
• Inspections: Conduct move-in/out and property onboarding audits.
• QA: Audit work completed by external vendors.
• Field Ops: Manage service tasks via mobile apps and post legal notices.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Base pay may be adjusted based on experience, licensure level, and location.)

HVAC Certification: HVAC Type II Certification (required), Universal Certification (preferred)
