Job summary

Roofstock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain rental properties across multiple sites in Greenville, SC. You will perform high-quality repairs and inspections with a customer-focused, self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities include routine and emergency repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), turnovers for new move-ins, move-in/out inspections, and QA of work by external vendors. Requires HVAC Type II certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Comfortable using mobile apps for work orders and communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Turnovers: Prepare vacant units for new move-ins (make-readies).
• Inspections: Conduct move-in/out and property onboarding audits.
• QA: Audit work completed by external vendors.
• Field Ops: Manage service tasks via mobile apps and post legal notices.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Base pay may be adjusted based on experience, licensure level, and location.)

HVAC Certification: HVAC Type II Certification (required), Universal Certification (preferred)
