Job summary

LR Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with prior apartment maintenance experience to join our team in Michigan. You will perform general maintenance tasks to ensure units and common areas are in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, painting, preventative maintenance, move in/out inspections, and timely completion of resident service requests. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts.
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized.
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property’s indoor common areas.
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal.
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing.
