Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role focuses on ensuring community facilities meet company standards and legal requirements, delivering quality workmanship and resident-focused service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues, maintaining clean and safe spaces, and responding quickly to service tickets while communicating updates to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks in property maintenance.
• One year of related maintenance experience or equivalent.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred but not required.

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this community meet both company standards and applicable laws. Through your commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and passion for resident service, you will play a vital role in maintaining a community our residents are proud to call home.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.

Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws

Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets

Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: $24.00 – $25.00/hour

Up to 50% Rent Discount

Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions

Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly

On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:00AM-4:30PM

Paid rotating on-call participation required

Must be available and prepared for emergency events

What We’ll Expect From You

Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle

HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred

One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
