• Professional-Level English language skills preferred.

Maintenance technicians maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role creates value for the facility by performing preventative and corrective maintenance that leads to increased uptime, reliability, and the accomplishment of production and quality goals, as well as other activities assigned to the maintenance team. This position is for a 2nd or 3rd shift technician.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and complete preventive maintenance tasks on schedule. Identify and report additional tasks for the maintenance schedule.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work with team members to accomplish projects and solve problems, providing creative solutions for complex challenges.
• Troubleshoot Effectively: Assist in thoroughly troubleshooting problems during breakdowns, suggesting solutions and options to management to minimize downtime.
• Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify and report additional issues that arise during unrelated tasks, resolving them immediately if resources and time allow.

Qualifications

• A valid diploma in an industrial-maintenance related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience with process equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience a plus
• Hydraulics experience a plus.
• Must possess ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Preferred knowledge and experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
• Must have very strong analytical skills.
• Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules.
• Ability to carry out instructions given in written, oral or diagram form.
• Participates as an Emergency Action Team Member.
• Professional-Level English language skills preferred
