Job summary

Freudenberg‑NOK Sealing Technologies in Bristol, NH seeks a Preventive Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems. You will diagnose issues, address wear, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations.

Ideally you have 1+ year in industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and a detail-oriented, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase up to 480V).
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance strategies and condition monitoring.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect and address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent failures.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and PM schedules.
• Service equipment including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, stamping equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and recommend actions.
• Comply with OSHA, LOTO, and safety standards.

Preventative Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Inspect, diagnose, and proactively address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradation
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent recurring failures
• Maintain and document maintenance activities, PM schedules, and equipment history
• Service equipment including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping equipment
• Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1+ year of industrial or preventive maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance
• Understanding of preventive maintenance strategies (lubrication, inspections, condition monitoring)
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow systematic problem-solving methods
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
