Job summary

Delaware North at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a seasonal Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance duties throughout the property. You will be responsible for minor repairs, lawn maintenance, and ensuring tools are in working order. A minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance is required, and no high school diploma or GED is necessary.

The position offers competitive pay between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour and various benefits including weekly pay and flexible work schedules.

• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies.

What will you do?

• Make minor repairs to equipment and appliances such as sinks, grills, coolers etc.
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
• Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
• Maintain preventative maintenance on equipment

More about you

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for commercial facility required
• Previous experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred

Physical requirements

• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking 100% of the time
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
