Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Laundry Workers at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. You will operate large commercial washers and dryers, sort items, and ensure proper detergent usage while maintaining a clean laundry area. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this role.

Typical shifts include evenings, days, weekends with 8-hour shifts. Prior hotel/high-volume laundry experience is helpful, but not required.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to work effectively with others in fast-paced environments and communicate with guests and team members.
• Laundry worker experience in a hotel or other high-volume location is beneficial.
• No experience or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend laundry machines, washing and drying articles with appropriate detergents and additives.
• Sort, count, and store articles after drying, keeping the laundry area clean and organized.
• Inspect soiled articles for stains or color issues and determine special treatments if needed.
• Record all loads washed and dried to track productivity and losses.

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Laundry Workers to join our team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating large commercial washers and dryers according to safety standards.

Pay

$14.00 - $16.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Operate and tend the machines, including washing and drying articles such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets, ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives is used as needed
• Sort, count, and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet
• Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
• Record all loads washed and dried to calculate productivity, including loss of linens due to stains, tears, and wear

Physical requirements

• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the weather and how many machines are in operation at any given time
